Why Mechanical Engineering

1. What is Mechanical Engineering?
Mechanical Engineering is the broadest of all Engineering disciplines, encompassing areas such as energy, fluid mechanics, dynamics, combustion, vibration, design, manufacturing process, systems modeling and simulation, mechatronics, robotics, characterization and strength in materials, and rapid prototyping.
2. What are the differences between President University and other Universities in Indonesia?
President University using 100% English speaking environment and Faster graduation program which makes the graduates pass only to 3 years and 6 months with Indonesian and English Certificate. President University also makes the graduates have working skills with Internship Program.
3. Why should we take Mechanical Engineering as our major in President University?
We are using laboratory-based learning and all subjects to taken are supported by laboratory works. President University also provides you with Computer Lab, Chemistry & Physics Lab, Drawing Studio, Manufacturing Process Lab and Material Science Lab.
4. What concentration can be taken as a Mechanical Engineering student at University President?
There are 4 outstanding concentrations in Mechanical Engineering such as Automotive Manufacture, Energy Conversion, Materials Forming and Mechatronics.
5. What subjects would be taken when majored in Mechanical Engineering at the President University?
A set subjects of mathematics and physics also mechanical drawing should be taken in the beginning. The other courses are taken in the advance semester.
6. Whether the university president will help the graduates to work immediately after graduation or not?
There is an internship program which is required to take before thesis. When the students work for internship in one company, if they have a good performance, that company are acceptable to hire the students, before graduation.
